Normally, Rite Aid will only allow you to use one prescription transfer coupon every six months. For the second month in a row, Rite Aid has put out a double deal. You can transfer TWO prescriptions at one time. Each transferred prescription is worth a $25 gift card. That’s $50 in your pocket!

Normally, RiteAid is pretty stringent about their prescription transfer coupons. They keep track of how often you use their coupons and hop your prescriptions to them. I have a hard time hopping to them more than once every six months.
Well, here’s the deal I’ve been waiting for! Until March 28, you can transfer TWO prescriptions to them for a total of $50 in gift cards ($25 per transfer).

Kmart has a prescription gift card coupon out right now. It’s good on any NEW or TRANSFER prescription and it’s worth a $20 Kmart gift card.
It’s hard to find the gift cards for NEW prescriptions so this is awesome! Plus, many of your other drugstores will honor this coupon as well. The CVS by me will honor it and I plan to use it!
Hurry though, it expires on March 7.

I sat down this morning with all the sales fliers to determine my shopping plan for this week. As usual, most of the drugstores have the same items on sale so it’s a matter of price shopping to get the best deals.
For example:
Rite Aid Lysol Wipes are 2 for $5, then you get a Single Rebate Check (SRC) for $1. Your effective prices before coupons is 2 for $4. Not bad but I kept looking.
Walgreens has Lysol Wipes in a twin-pack for $3.49. Even better!
Then I took a closer look. The twin-pack wipes were 70 count each. The Rite Aid sale wipes were 35-40 count! Definitely a much better deal at Walgreens.
Go to The Coupon Clippers and search on Lysol to purchase a $1/2 q for Lysol Wipes.
Secret Deodorant
Secret deodorant is on sale $4/2 after SRC at Rite Aid. I have $2qs for Secret Clinical Strength. If the Secret Clinical Strength is included in the sale, these will be free. If not, I have $.50 qs for any Secret for an effective price of $1.50 each.

Prescription hopping is transferring your prescriptions from one pharmacy to another when the new pharmacy is offering a gift card incentive. Take your empty or almost empty prescription bottle to the new pharmacy along with your coupon. The pharmacist will call the previous pharmacy to get authorization and move all the info to the new store. It’s that simple!
ALWAY read the fine print! RiteAid’s current coupon is not valid if you have transferred within the past six months.
Tip: CVS will often take a RiteAid xfer q. Some stores will even give you $5 more than the RiteAid offer.
